Our Team

Gwynneth Hall, DMV

I grew up in the Midwest raising beef cattle, and showing rabbits and horses. From an early point in life I knew I wanted to make things better for others. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1989. After trying a few different aspects of my profession; emergency medicine, relief veterinarian, associate veterinarian; I knew I would be happiest with a practice of my own. I purchased a small animal practice in Citrus County in 1997, and have built it into a hospital I am proud to call my own. I treat all small animal and exotic patients, including wildlife. I am excited to go to work every day and still love what I do.

FUN FACT: I was a concert harpist and member of two youth symphonies before college.

Betty, Office Manager

Betty took a risk and changed careers to help me start my practice in 1997. She has been my right hand "man" since that time. She has helped the practice to grow, and is an invaluable asset in many ways. Betty is also a strong driving force for many of our charity fund raising events throughout the years.

FUN FACT: Betty decided to pursue a lifelong dream and teach herself to play the piano!

Dierdra Veterinary Technician

Dierdra joined the team in 2007. Since that time she has proven herself to be a staunch advocate for our patients. She is an integral part of the HABH family and we are lucky to have her!

FUN FACT:Dierdra used to race motocross and was the women's champion in Homestaed

Megan Veterinary Technician

Megan started working at the hospital in high school and has not looked back. After a brief period of insanity when she tried human nursing, she came to her senses & returned to the HABH family. Megan is a very skilled technician and always keeps us laughing.

FUN FACT: Megan is highly allergic to animals & has to take injections to be able to work!

Sky Veterinary Technician

Sky was born and raised in Georgia. She worked as a technician in Louisiana, and recently left a corporate medicine setting which did not suit her sensibilities. I feel Sky has found a good home here at HABH and will fit in well.

FUN FACT: Sky is an amatuer author

MEL Veterinary Technician

Mel is a recent addition to the HABH team but is already proving herself to be a fast learner and a great fit for us. We hope she continues to grow with us.

FUN FACT:

Rayann & Savannah Animal Care Technicians

Rayann and Savannah are both responsible for the care of our boarding patients. Both are caring individuals who do their very best to ensure our patients are happy, clean, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay with us at HABH
